It is almost time for our Annual Spring Auction. You don't want to miss out on it if there is any way you can make it.
The auction is next saturday May 5th at 10am. We will have a food booth. It usually lasts about four hours. We will have shrubs , perennials and most of all trees.
We have freshly dug many of the trees right here at our nursery so you can expect top quality trees.
We have freshly dug, white pine, norway spruce, austrian pine, blue spruce, colorado spruce, red maples, red oaks, flowering pear, flowering crab, Canadian cherry, sycamore and locust. We will have little starter norway spruce in one gallon containers.
We have freshly dug arborvitae which are great to block an unsightly view.
Lots of different shrub varieties, burning bush, viburnum, spirea,
Oso easy roses, yellow knock out roses, lilacs in bloom, Wine and roses weigela, dappled willow and many more.
We will have a few varieties of perennials such as sedums, lilies, and hosta. A few varieties of grasses also.
Many people ask how the auction works. It is just like any other auction for the most part. When it comes to large trees, we are just bidding on that one tree. You don't have to buy large groups of anything here. If there is a group of ten burning bush , the highest bidder may buy one or he might buy all ten.
You want to keep that in mind if you really really want something you need to be the high bidder. It gives You the option then.
We have lots of fun. We will have a food wagon. Come rain or shine with boots if it rains. It is muddy here in some areas although most areas are covered in gravel.
Don't miss it!
